Self Regulation

It's crucial to prioritise self-care during times of struggle and overwhelm. Daily structure and connection are important to the maintenance of your mental health. Maintaining basic needs like sleep, food, bathing, and exercise is crucial. Stay connected with family or friends that provide healthy connection, as this may aid in balancing you as you process.

Emotional regulation also benefits greatly from breathing techniques, grounding, and awareness of the tension you release or retain.
